End-to-end encryption
Your entries are encrypted on your device before they're ever synced. The server stores encrypted data it cannot read.
PIN app lock
A dedicated PIN lock with configurable auto-lock timing keeps the app closed to anyone who picks up your phone.
Receipts, edited in-app
Attach a photo to any expense, then crop, rotate or replace it later — no need to get the shot perfect the first time.
Budgets & goals
Set monthly budgets per category or overall, and savings goals with manual or automatic recurring contributions.
Recurring income & expenses
Salary, rent, subscriptions — set them once with a frequency and SproutSave keeps your ledger current automatically.
Local-first, works offline
Log expenses with no connection. SproutSave syncs securely once you're back online, so a dead spot never blocks your tracking.

Your key never leaves your device
An encryption key is derived from your credentials on-device. It's used to encrypt every entry before anything is sent anywhere.
The server only ever sees ciphertext

A PIN locks the app itself
Layer on a PIN with an auto-lock timeout so the decrypted view is only ever a tap away when you want it to be.
